There’s lots of jargon out there in photography land, and I think it can sometimes be more confusing than anything else, so I’m going to do my best to avoid it for you. I don’t tend to shoot in a very strict or set style. I’m led by you and by the people you’ve surrounded yourself with – seeking out interactions as they happen and capturing them in a natural and unobtrusive way.
I’m also a specialist in couples portraits, and bring an artistic eye to these, using natural light and finding gorgeous compositions that feel relaxed and effortless. I promise there will be no forced poses or mad instructions to do star jumps or peek coyly out from behind trees! My portraiture is all about your comfort in front of the camera, and being able to capture the intense and joyful connection that you share. That’s what makes my images feel natural and timeless – they’re not led by trends or by what’s fashionable, they’re inspired by love, plain and simple. Even thinking about shooting wedding day portraits makes me giddy with excitement – I adore them!

on the day
I love to build a relationship with my couples so that, come the big day, I am more like a guest at your wedding rather than just your photographer. This relationship is really important to me, and I’ll do everything I can to help you feel relaxed and at ease. I’ll be there when you are getting ready, I will share those intimate moments with you and I will be on the dancefloor with you all in the evening. You won’t find me lurking in bushes or hiding in the shadows, I will be there with you and your guests, capturing your day as it unfolds before me.
I will never ask your guests to pose for a photo, unless it is during a group shot, people tend to stiffen up when they know the camera is on them. Instead, I prefer the little looks when you think nobody is watching, the special moments between loved ones in the corner of the room, the real ‘let your hair down’ moments on the dancefloor.
Your wedding day is a story and it should be told as it happened. I am constantly searching for the next photo opportunity and I never stop. I fully immerse myself in every wedding and am there in the thick of it from preparation to party and everything else in between
I take on a limited number of bookings per year
I like to keep things simple when it comes to pricing, so I offer one package with the option to add to it if you wish, a bit like an a la carte menu. If you are after something more bespoke then let’s discuss your requirements.

A pre-wedding consultation
I love us to get to know each other better before the big day and I want to hear all of your exciting plans. Let’s book a video call and have a chat

All day wedding photography
A full day of photography on the big day. This will cover everything from the preparation stage up until your evening do, and everything in-between. No rushing off after the first dance.

A first
look
I know you will be dying to see your images so after a couple of days I will send you over a taster selection, to whet your appetite!

My signature editing style
I set to work, creating the most beautiful gallery that reflects your special day. All of your images will be edited in my signature relaxed yet timeless style and I will provide you with a minimum of 500 images

Online gallery & slideshow
All of your images will be delivered to you via an online gallery. You can download and print and share with friends and family. In addition, you’ll receive an emotional slideshow of your wedding highlights set to music, a beautiful memento of your day

Prints
I passionately believe in bringing your photos to life so I include 6 7×5 luxury fine art prints as part of the package

By now you may have a few questions. I have tried to answer these as best as I can below but we can go over everything in detail when we have a proper chat. Start the ball rolling by sending me a message on the contact page, I can’t wait to hear from you.
How do we book?
First of all, hooray, I am so pleased you are considering me as your wedding photographer. Let’s book a time to have a chat and get to know each other a bit better. That way we can go over all the details of your day and you can tell me all your exciting plans. If you want to proceed with the booking then all I ask for is a £500 deposit, and the balance is then due six weeks before your wedding day
Can we book a bespoke package?
Absolutely! If you want something a little different and bespoke then I am more than happy to put together a package for you. Don’t need a full day? Not a problem. Let’s have a chat about your wedding day and we can discuss your requirements and I will put something special together for you
Do you travel?
I love to travel and see new places and new venues. While I live in Buckinghamshire and regularly shoot locally, I cover all of the UK and have also shot stunning destination weddings abroad.
When will we see our images and how many will we get?
I know you will be so excited to see your images and don’t worry, I won’t make you wait long! After a few days, I will send you over a few of your highlights, just to give you a taster of what is to come while I work on the rest. I aim to deliver your full wedding gallery within 4-6 weeks. It is hard to put on exact number on how many images you will receive, but I would say a minimum of 500, it is likely to be more!
Why is a second photographer a good idea?
A second photographer is essential if you want images of you both getting ready. I can only devote myself fully to one of you, unfortunately. It is also a good idea to have a second photographer if you have a particularly large wedding party so that all angles are covered. We can discuss this more during our initial call
What is a couples shoot/engagement shoot?
I love an engagement shoot, or a couples shoot. They are a great way of us getting to know each other a little better before the big day. They get you used to being in front of the camera and you get a ton of gorgeous images of the two of you to share with friends and family. Some people like to incorporate these into their big day in some way. A lot of couples I speak to say that they don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera and they don’t like having their photo taken. You will love your engagement shoot and hopefully be surprised at how relaxed you feel. Why do I need an album?
Because photographs are not meant to be stuck in computers! I’m someone who believes that photos are keepers of memories, and you should give yourself as many chances to look at them as you can. The albums I offer give you the chance to hold your memories in your hands. They are really tactile and lovely, with exquisitely high quality paper and lots of options for customisation and making them extra personal.
