Waddesdon Dairy Wedding – Buckinghamshire Photographer – Kelly & Andy
I was honoured to be asked to photograph Kelly and Andy’s Waddesdon dairy wedding a couple of weeks ago. Kelly and Andy are such a lovely couple and a Waddesdon dairy wedding is a thing of beauty from start to finish
A couple of months ago we did their engagement shoot up at Coombe Hill. The stunning location with it’s beautiful views over the Buckinghamshire countryside made for the perfect venue. Plus we got some gorgeous photos of Kelly and Andy together, just being themselves. Click here to see their gallery
Kelly chose to get ready for her Waddesdon dairy wedding in the buttery. This room sits in the grounds and is beautifully spacious, ideal for a large bridal party. Kelly and her six bridesmaids all had hair done and helped each other out with their makeup. They all looked absolutely beautiful! The preparation was a lovely relaxed affair and a perfect start to a wonderful day. Andy and the boys headed straight to the pub when they got there. The weather was nice so they all sat outside and greeted guests as they arrived. Then it was on to the venue to await his beautiful bride
Kelly and Andy had hoped that their Waddesdon dairy wedding would take place outside overlooking the lake. Unfortunaly the weather had other ideas as the heavens oped just before she left for the ceremony. Kelly didn’t let this put a dampner on her day and fortunately the ceremony room indoors is equally as beautiful. Kelly and Andy’s son Freddie played a big role in the ceremony as he was ring bearer. He looked super cute in his little suit and he played his part brilliantly
Ceremony over and the rain had stopped. Guest were treated to canapes on the lawn while group shots and the couples portraits took place. Kelly and Andy had put out giant Jenga and connect four for the children to play with and they were kept well entertained. I took Kelly and Andy for a walk around the grounds and into the sectret garden. A Waddesdon dairy wedding is a beautiful and unique affair with stunning grounds and lots of interesting features. A photographers dream!
The guests moved inside for dinner and speeches. Andy had the room in stitches during his speech and everyone was so relaxed and having a great time. Kelly and Andy had hired a magician who was incredibly entertaining and very good at what he did. After some mingling and a quick step outside to get a couple more shots overlooking the lake it was on to cake cutting. The cake was from Marks and spencers and looked so pretty. The rest of the day was filled with laughter, love and lots of boogieing and it was very evident that a great day was had by all
Thank you for having me guys, it was a pleasure
“Andy & I can’t fault the service Suzy provided on our recent wedding day. From the moment we first spoke, Suzy came across extremely professional and knowledgeable, she made us feel immediately at ease when we met for our engagement shoot and definitely calmed my nerves on the big day! The end product was a portfolio of so many amazing photos.. which captured us as a couple, and our wedding day, perfectly. Her attention to detail from start to finish was outstanding. Andy and I would highly recommend Suzy. Thank you so much!”
