I think it is fair to say that this year has been a little bit different, understatement I know! What with the world being completely turned upside down and not being able to see our loved ones, it has been tough on everyone. I know I have certainly felt it! What this year has done has made me realise, even more so, how important family is and to cherish our loved ones every day. When restrictions started easing and we were allowed to see people again, I was allowed to go back out with my camera and I couldn’t wait. Summer family photography shoots booked and I was good to go, socially distanced obviously!
I met with some lovely families over the summer, new faces and old. It was wonderful catching up with everybody and talking about our years to date. Unfortunately, Covid featured quite frequently but it was inevitable I guess. This year saw me at some of my favourite spots for my summer family photography shoots, Ashridge, Coombe hill, Waterperry gardens and a new one for me, RHS Wisley. All spots were equally stunning in their own unique way and made for the perfect backdrop for some gorgeous family images. My obsession this year was long grass, as you will see!
I love family photography at the best of times, even more so now! I honestly believe in capturing memories with beautiful imagery. Here are some of my highlights from this year’s summer shoots. I really hope you enjoy them
