Last summer I met with the Sheer family for their Houghton hall park family photoshoot. I have known the family for years and so it was a pleasure and a joy to be taking family photos of them all. They chose Houghton Hall Park in Bedfordshire as it is fairly local to them and I was pleased with their choice. The park spans 42 acres and has a fab little cafe, which is where we met for the photoshoot. I hadn’t been to this park before but I love checking out new places. I love finding all the nooks and crannies that make for the perfect photo, and this park had plenty!
After a brief coffee and a catch-up, we headed off and went for a walk around the grounds. It was a lovely warm day and the sun was shining down on us. The two children were very happy and ran off exploring. I looked for the best spots for us to stop and take some photos and there were plenty of spots to choose from. It wasn’t long before we came across a really interesting log structure that made for the perfect climbing frame and was our first stop for some family shots. The kids loved it and we got some great photos of them all individually and as a family
Houghton hall park was a great place for a family photo shoot and I would definitely use it again
