De Vere Latimer Estate Wedding – Becky and Pete’s Wedding

In February I had the honour of photographing Becky and Pete’s beautiful De Vere Latimer Estate wedding in Chesham.   They chose to celebrate their special day on February the 29th, a leap year.  It was a cold and blustery day but it all went beautifully and the sun was shining for most of the day

Preparation

Becky and her lovely bridesmaids got ready in Tring at Pendley Manor.  This beautiful and grand hotel made for the perfect start to their day.  Spread over two rooms there was plenty of space to get ready and lots of room for Emmy (their almost two year old) to run around.  The girls drank bubbly and had a good old giggle and it was a pleasure to be part of.  Once Becky had been helped into her beautiful Rebecca Ignram dress it was on to the church in Tring for the main event

The Ceremony

The ceremony took place in the beautiful Corpus Christi Church in Tring.  The couple live in Tring and have a connection to the church so it was even more special for them.  The ceremony was overseen by Father David who was a real character and gave a great service.  Becky’s parents both gave readings which was a lovely touch and super special for the couple.

Then it was on to their De Vere Latimer Estate wedding reception

Reception

We arrived at the De Vere Latimer Estate and the sun was shining.  Compared to the weather the previous day we could not have asked for more.  Becky was hard core, she stood outside with bare arms in the cold for their group photos.  Then she stayed outside for their couples portraits, what a trooper!  The grounds were stunning and a beautiful backdrop for their portraits.  The pampas grass shots are a particular favourite of mine.  After this we joined their guests inside for their drinks reception and then speeches and their sit down meal.    The food was divine, particularly the profiterole stack (I do love a good pud).  After food it was on to the evening do and it was great fun.  One of Becky’s bridesmaids had made them a ton of brownies which was their wedding cake (they were very yummy) but they did have a top tier to cut.  Becky and Pete are big gig goers, their table names were bands that they have both been to see, and their first dance was a lively one.  There was lots of twirling, jumping and singing out loud, it was great fun

It was a great day filled with lots of love and plenty of laughter.  I think you can see from their images that a fab day was had by all.  Thanks for having me guys, it was an absolute pleasure x
