Back on a blustery and cold day in February I had the pleasure of capturing Becky and Pete’s beautiful De Vere Latimer Estate wedding photography. This year was a leap year and they chose to have their wedding day on this special day, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. It was a beautiful day filled with an incredible amount of laughter and they were so lucky as the sun was shining all afternoon long
Becky and her lovely bridesmaids got ready for this special day in Tring at Pendley Manor. This beautiful and rather grand house made for the perfect start to a perfect day. The vibe was very chilled with lots of laughter and a few obligatory bubbles. Becky and Pete’s daughter Emmy, who was only one and a half, looked adorable in her little bridesmaid’s dress. The hem of her bow was part of Becky’s wedding dress which was such a lovely sentimental touch. Becky was helped into her dress by her sister who was her maid of honour and then the look was complete. A beautiful bride ready for her big wedding day
The Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place in the beautiful Corpus Christi Church in Tring. The couple live in Tring and have a connection to the church so it was even more special for them and their families. The wedding ceremony was overseen by Father David who was a real character and gave a great service. Becky’s parents both gave readings which was a lovely touch and super special for the couple. Emmy provided entertainment by rolling around on the floor and just generally looking super cute. It was a really special ceremony and Becky and Pete couldn’t have looked any happier on their special day
Then it was on to the De Vere Latimer Estate for their beautiful wedding reception
When we arrived at the De Vere Latimer Estate and the sun was shining. Compared to the weather the previous day we could not have asked for more. Becky was hardcore, she stood outside with bare arms in the cold for their group photos. Then she stayed outside for their couples portraits, what a trooper! The grounds of the De Vere Latimer estate were stunning and a beautiful backdrop for their wedding portraits. The pampas grass shots are a particular favourite of mine.
The Evening Do
We joined their guests inside for their drinks reception and then speeches and their sit down meal. The wedding breakfast was held in the Cavendish Suite and it was beautiful. This elegant and light-filled room looked sublime with their subtle decor. The food was divine, particularly the profiterole stack (I do love a good pud). After food it was on to the evening do and it was great fun. One of Becky’s bridesmaids had made them a ton of brownies which was their wedding cake (they were very yummy) but they did have a top tier to cut. Becky and Pete are big gig goers, their table names were bands that they have both been to see, and their first dance was a lively one. There was lots of twirling, jumping and singing out loud, it was great fun
It was a really special day filled with lots of love and plenty of laughter. A De Vere Latimer Estate wedding is a beautiful affair and I think you can see from their images that a fab day was had by all. Thanks for having me guys, it was an absolute pleasure x
