Cain Manor is a stunning barn-style wedding venue, nestled in the beautiful Surrey countryside. From the moment you arrive, you will be captivated by its exterior, which oozes character and charm. Inside, the venue is full of beautiful period details and old oak floors and beams, married with the finest in modern style and luxury. It is one of my favourite wedding venues to work at and you will see why
On a beautifully sunny and warm day last summer I had the absolute pleasure of being part of Lisa and Dave’s special wedding day
Bride and Groom Preparations
Lisa and the girls got ready in the bridal suite. Cain Manor is an exclusive use wedding venue so you get the run of the place until the following day. It was a lovely relaxed morning with bubbles, laughter and the odd tear, especially when Lisa was presented with a beautiful gift from her husband to be. This team were super organised and were ready with plenty of time to spare and Lisa looked absolutely amazing! The boys arrived to finish their final preparations upstairs and made use of one of the other bedrooms, before all heading down to get ready to greet the wedding guests

Wedding Ceremony
Lisa and Dave got married in the oak beamed music room. The space was beautiful and it was lovely and light on such a wonderful day. The fairy lights twinkled and the happy couple beamed throughout the entire wedding ceremony

Drinks Reception and Wedding Speeches
It was such a beautifully warm and sunny day so the drinks reception took place outside on the terrace. Adults enjoyed a few glasses of bubbly, while the kids ran around and played giant chess. It was a beautifully relaxed affair, just as Lisa and Dave had wanted it to be and I had the best time mingling with the guests and capturing the fun and laughter as I went

Party!
Everyone moved inside for the evening’s celebrations and Lisa and Dave enjoyed their first dance. They had hired a fab band and I loved getting in on the action on the dancefloor. This is definitely one of my favourite parts of the day, I love to capture everyone when they are at their most relaxed, throwing some shapes!

Portraits
The gardens at Cain Manor are really beautiful and a joy for portraits. There are so many different backdrops to take advantage of and we were so lucky to have such a beautiful day. The sun was very high and very bright during the day but we used it to our advantage. We were then blessed with the most beautiful golden hour later in the evening and I just had to grab Lisa and Dave for a few more portraits, it was well worth it! I’m slightly obsessed with light and spend the day looking for opportunities to use it!

I had such an awesome day photographing Lisa and Daves wedding at Cain Manor. I hope you enjoyed my blog and love the images as much as I do.
